Lumoava: Finnish adjective for "enchanting"


Lumoava tuo yhteen suomalaisen muotoilun ja  koruvalmistuksen. Mallisto yhdistää kunkin muotoilijan tyylin yhdeksi näyttäväksi kokonaisuudeksi. Lumoava-mallisto koostuu 28 korusetistä, jotka on suunnattu pohjoismaisesta muotoilusta pitäville.

Lumoava on aito ja rehellinen. Se on selkeää puhdasta kauneutta, jota tehdään suurella sydämellä. Lumoavan oma sielu säilyy joka hetki, mutta silti se uusiutuu, yllättää ja herättää aina tunteita.

Ihmiset Lumoavan taustalla

Lumoavan taustalla on joukko ihmisiä, joiden ansiosta Lumoava on enemmän kuin vain kaunis nimi. Se on liitto, jonka kauneus syntyy sen ympärillä työskentelevien ihmisten antaumuksesta ja halusta olla mukana rakentamassa uutta suomalaista korumuotoilua. Tämän yhteistyön ansiota on kieli, jota Lumoava puhuu ja jota Lumoavan ystävät ymmärtävät.

Lumoava Production

Production

Lumoava jewellery is crafted in the Saurum Osakeyhtiö's factory in Kuopio, Finland. The factory's history, dates back to the 1940s. Nowadays the almost 70 years old factory, together with its professional staff, combines traditional artisan work with new jewellery making technologies.

Today, nearly 40 employees work in the factory. Machinists responsible for operating and overhauling the tools needed in production, designers and their artistry, marketeers who put Lumoava on the map. And those, who are in charge of perfectly packaging and delivering the entire collection in the hands of our wearers. Each one of them play an essential role in creating Lumoava's line of jewellery.

Valmistus

Lumoava-korut valmistaa kuopiolainen jalometalliyritys Saurum Osakeyhtiö. Jalometallitehtaan historia yltää aina 1940-luvulle. Pian 70 vuotta täyttävä yritys yhdistää nykypäivänä taitavasti perinteisen käsityötaidon ja uuden teknologian.

Tehtaassa työskentelee 37 ihmistä, joista jokainen on mukana jossakin Lumoava-korun valmistusvaiheessa. Jotkut vastaavat työkaluista ja koneista, joita korujen tekoon tarvitaan, toiset ovat niitä, joiden kautta valmistettavat korut konkreettisesti kulkevat. Myös korujen saaminen koteloihinsa ja niissä maailmalle vaatii oman porukkansa, myyntiä ja markkinointia unohtamatta.
